Highlights
- 20 seconds from firing to full coverage video.
- Super High resolution video quad for detailed aerial surveillance.
- Real time video and data transmission up to 18 km.
- Fire tested under 10,000 g acceleration in complete configuration.
- GPS and compass telemetries included for better orientation
System Incorporates
- 4 Cameras inter combined, covering simultaneousely an area of 1200x1600 meters from 6000 ft. altitude.
- Video/Telemetry transmitter for 18Km. range.
- Airborne GPS, giving LAT/LON coordinates; altitudes, speed and direction of system, with 1 second update rate.
- Ground reception and display console, for video and numeric data, with optional interface to other C2I systems via RS232 operating sequence.
- A pyrotechnic mechanism lets the optic head and the parachute out of the shell, when the mortar bomb reaches its summit.
- Transmitter to send video and GPS parameters to the ground console, during the optic head's descent.

System Characteristics
- 4 Seconds after parachute ejection, the system stabilizes in roll and yew
- Parachute vertical speed: 2.5-5 m/s
- MISSION TIME: 6-12 min.
- Real time video transmission
- Average wind drift: 5 m/s
- GPS reports system's position, altitude and wind drift vector
- Ground console station allows real time and detailed playback of mosaic or single high resolution picture
- GPS position and video mosaic footprint are shown on digital map
Advantages
- Real time “over the hill” surveillance
- Firing from standard mortars in battalion and company level
- Simple to operate
- A valuable tool for true wind and meteorological sampling by GPS position and drift vector, during parachute descend
- Large area coverage with high resolution, without any scanning mechanism
Applications
- Brigade level real time video reconnaissance
- Over the hill instantaneous intelligence
- Damage assessment
- Real time Meteorology field measurements
